Evolis announces the upcoming discontinuation of the desktop Tattoo2 plastic ID card printer, which will no longer be available after December 31, 2011.
The Evolis Zenius ID card printer available in Classic and Expert models will replace the Tattoo2. The Zenius Expert model comes with USB and Ethernet links, as well as multiple encoding options and represents a great leap forward in ID card printing technology with its unmatched ergonomics, noticeable decrease in energy consumption and vastly improved performance.
Both consumables and ID card printer parts for the Tattoo2 will remain available after the discontinuation.
