Evolis Printers Update
New firmware available for Evolis PRIMACY 2 printers
Each Evolis printer includes a firmware (microcode). This firmware is a set of instructions and data structures to operate specific components. As part of its continuous improvement policy, Evolis developed new firmware version 2234 for PRIMACY 2 printer.
This firmware version has been published in November 2022 on the Evolis website.
Evolis recommends updating printer firmware in order to lock in Primacy 1 firmware update on Primacy 2 and other improvements (refer to changelog history file published at the same time).
IMPORTANT: For printers with firmware below than version 2219, the 2219 firmware version must be updated before 2234 version

New Evolis printer driver For Microsoft Windows® environment
A printer driver is software used by an operating system to manage printer. For Microsoft Windows® environment, Evolis printers are managed by software suite (driver and software) named Evolis Premium Suite.
As part of its continuous improvement policy, Evolis has developed new software suite which included new fixes and improvement. The latest release of Evolis Premium Suite 2 (version 7.1.4.11808) has been published in November 2022 on the Evolis website. In addition to the setup files, Evolis publishes a history file which includes all improvement details about the current version.
Evolis recommends updating Evolis Premium Suite 2, for Primacy 2 printers, to take full advantage of the latest improvements.
Securion: Discontinued spare parts
SECURION spare parts have been withdrawn from the market. Their commercialization officially ceased on the 1st of SEPTEMBER 2022.
