The versatility of Fargo’s DTC4500 dual-sided is unsurpassed. Capable of making simple loyalty ID cards as well as sophisticated access cards with embedded electronics, the DTC4500’s dual-sided printing module creates an ID card with more space for information and security features such as duplicate photos and digital-signatures. ID cards are produced using two different printing methods: Dye-Sublimation for vivid colors and accurate photographic images, and Resin Thermal Transfer for sharp black text and bar codes that can be easily read by infrared or visible light scanners.

The DTC4500 offers additional field-upgradable options for higher levels of security:
- Optional card lamination applies an overlaminate to cards, making them highly-secure, resisting forgery while increasing card durability. Unique dual-sided simultaneous lamination saves time with increased throughput.
- Technology encoding modules encode data for magnetic stripe, proximity, contact and/or contactless technology cards, such as iCLASS®, for access control or other applications.
- Fully compatible with Asure ID® card personalization software for badge design, database management and technology card encoding.
The Fargo DTC4500 is also available as DTC4500 single-sided or DTC4500 LC with lamination.

Warranty- HID Global offers a two-year Standard Limited Warranty covering parts and depot repair labor. No On-Call Express or Extended Limited Warranties are also available.
If for any reason your FARGO product fails to perform, HID Global will exchange it with a new product within the first sixty (60) days of field service as long as the card count is fewer than 2,000 cards.

Reviewing On-Call Express services:
WHEN TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND THE FSP/ASP ARE UNABLE TO RESOLVE A PRINTER ISSUE OVER THE PHONE AND DETERMINE THAT THE PRINTER SHOULD BE RETURNED TO HID GLOBAL FOR SERVICE, A LOANER UNIT MAY BE SHIPPED TO THE CUSTOMER VIA THE CUSTOMER’S FSP/ASP.
When a request is received by 3:00 PM (Central Time), a loaner unit will be shipped that same day via overnight delivery. Upon receipt of the defective unit, HID depot repair cleans, repairs, tests and returns the same unit to the customer. All repaired printers are shipped via UPS ground.
Repaired printers will include a Pre-Paid Federal Express label. The FSP/ASP/End User affixes this return label to the outside of the loaner box for return shipment. If you do not receive a return label please contact Technical Support, they can also issue a call tag.
On-Call-Express services are available to FSP/ASP’s only. HID Global will not ship an On- Call-Express printer to an end-user without the involvement of an FSP/ASP (certain exceptions may apply).
Reviewing On-Call Express Terms:
Effective August 1, 2009, HID made the following process changes to the On-Call Express program for FARGO printers:
Before HID ships a loaner printer, the FSP/ASP will need to send in a purchase order referencing the RMA # of the loaner unit. If the FSP/ASP does not have payment terms set up with HID, the FSP/ASP will need to provide a valid credit card number.
If the loaner printer is not returned within 30 days of HID’s requested return date, HID will invoice the FSP/ASP’s company or bill their credit card for the value of the loaner printer, less their standard printer discount. A courtesy notification will be sent out prior to any billing. Please note that no charges are incurred as long as the loaner printer is returned to HID within the requested date.
HID Global pays all shipping charges on On-Call-Express printers. The FSP/ASP or the end user pays to ship the repair printer to HID Global. HID Global covers the return shipping of the repaired printer and ships the printer via UPS ground.
