IDSuperShop is proud and excited to continue to support the United States Veterans Administration (VA) with their PIV ID card printing operation, with the renewal of our ID card printer repair services contract, which covers the maintenance of 500+ HID Global Fargo HDP5000 ID card printers!
With the renewal of this contract, which runs through 2017, IDSuperShop will continue to provide logistics, technical assistance and ID card printer exchanges and repairs to the VA, as well as providing additional associated services needed to maintain the VA’s PIV ID card printing program.
The VA’s PIV ID card printing operation meets the Personal Identity Verification (PIV) program security standards set out by the Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12 (HSPD-12), which required federal agencies to produce ID cards containing a computer chip allowing for the receiving, storing, recalling and sending of information in a secure method by March 31, 2012.
