Kantech eXtended Secure Format (XSF), capable of being encoded with over four billion codes. Long-life passive cards and fobs for unlimited number of reads.

Kantech XSF format has 3 fields:
Extended data (8 bits=XX), Family (8 bits=YY) and ID (16 bits).
Note1: “XX” is Family Code (HEX value) and will increment after max card (ID) number is reached.
Note2: If the Family Code must be printed in decimal value, must be specified explicitly in the order.
