The HID Global Fargo DTC4500 Complete Single-Sided ID card printer with Single-sided lamination ID Card System includes everything you need to get started with printing professional ID cards for your organization. HID Global Fargo DTC4500’s lamination unit applies an overlaminate to cards, making them highly-secure, resisting forgery while increasing card durability. ID cards are produced using two different printing methods: Dye-Sublimation for vivid colors and accurate photographic images, and Resin Thermal Transfer for sharp black text and bar codes that can be easily read by infrared or visible light scanners.

The Fargo DTC4500 ID card printer produces high-resolution ID cards with photo quality images, and unbelievably sharp text and bar codes, in only a few keystrokes. The DTC4500 also offers optional security and encoding features, like the Fargo Print Security Suite, with fluorescing panels for card customization and security, and the optional magnetic encoder, which allows a variety of card personalizations.
