The fourth edition in the line of CardFive Vision software, CardFive Vision Professional offers an array of powerful design and ID card printing tools, including access rights management via application logins, auto / batch printing, and biometrics management. CardFive Vision Professional’s imager tool lets you capture, edit, and improve image properties, with dozens of functions specifically tailored for photo ID image capturing. CardFive Vision Professional allows you to import images in multiple file formats, and perform image acquisition using your scanner, digital camera, or any twain device, such as inPhoto Capture or inPhoto ID software. With its clipart library and comprehensive clipart manager capabilities, you can use and store your own imagery, in addition to using the provided default imagery selection.
CardFive Vision Professional features ‘Access Rights Management’, which allows you to grant design, edit, and print rights to users, adding an additional level of security to your card personalization applications. CardFive Vision Professional ID card software provides easy-to-use batch and automatic dual-sided printing, and with its Direct Command Language (DCL) and Microsoft Windows printer drivers, you can achieve maximum print speeds and error control. It includes more than 100 internal drivers, allowing it to be used with all of the popular card printer brands in the industry, such as HID Global Fargo, Evolis, and Zebra. CardFive Vision Professional ID card software is equipped with a full internal Microsoft Access database, which allows the adding and editing of card holder records in the database layout view, associating a photo with a database record, and performing powerful database query and reporting functions.
CardFive Vision Professional provides full ODBC connection, in addition to access to your stored CSV database files. It allows your company to easily operate over its network with additional site licenses, permitting licensed users to create, update, and maintain multiple records, while its network print server (NPS) allows multiple workstations to print and encode cards via a LAN or WAN on a server computer with one or more card printers. CardFive Vision Professional supports the major 1-D and 2-D barcode printing symbologies, including PDF417 2-D barcodes, which perform facial image encoding. Additionally, you can encode data for magnetic name badges or smart card use, so that your cards may be used for more than just photo identification. CardFive Vision Professional ID card software also allows the management of biometric information (fingerprints, signatures, etc.).
CardFive Vision Professional includes the NFive-exclusive KeyFive USB key, which allows you to protect and manage access to your software. Full access to CardFive Vision Professional is available only when the KeyFive USB stick is plugged into the same PC where the software has been installed. If the USB stick is removed, no one can access the software other than in demo mode, where there is no access to records created, and work done in this mode cannot be saved. Another optional feature compatible with any CardFive, CardFive Vision, and DeskFive software is the NFive FaceSnap upgrade. NFive’s FaceSnap is a plug-in, which is able to automatically identify a face on a picture, crop that face out of a scene, and improve its image quality for your ID cards.
