With its high-security profile, and network accessibility, Fargo‘s DTC550 Single-Sided Card Printer, Mag Encoder USB, Ethernet, 110-240 has been designed to please both IT and security.
With Fargo’s optional print security software, printers stay protected from unauthorized use, anywhere on a LAN, while remaining available to all authorized users. Security is built into the Fargo DTC550’s password protection text and email messaging, which instantly alert key personnel whenever unauthorized access is attempted. With optional networking capabilities, the Fargo DTC550 can support secure ID Card issuances throughout your organization.
Fargo’s easy-to-read SmartScreen™ LCD Control Panel offers convenient navigation through printer functions, and allows you to check maintenance status, while receiving up-to-date information about print operations. Continuous printing is possible with incomplete, and incorrect cards being sent to the rejected card hopper.
Multiple users at remote locations can have easy access to secure card issuance, with the DTC550’s optional Ethernet port, and internal print server, which serve to make this the ideal card printer for any large enterprise. Compatible with your Windows© PC, the DTC550 allows a seamless integration with your network, through a USB port, and its modular design allows upgrading at any time. Adding an encoding module will enable the creation of a wide range of secure card types, including customer loyalty cards with magnetic stripes, and smart cards with embedded electronics.
