Zebra ID card printers require specialized ribbon to function properly. To maximize printed ID card quality and ID printer durability, use only genuine Zebra ribbons.
When stored under proper conditions, dye-sublimation color ribbons typically have a shelf life of up to one year. YMCKO ribbons that are more than one year old, and improperly stored, will
not print optimally and will likely end up costing more money and time in maintenance and in reprinting cards.
