ID SuperShop, a proud Premier Partner of Zebra Technologies announces that the following ZXP Series 8™ retransfer ID card printer enhancements will be implemented via the new firmware and driver release:
– General performance and image quality enhancements
– 802.11b/g wireless network communications interface
– Multi-home support for wired and wireless interfaces
– Support for reject bin counting, alarm, display and clearing
This firmware update is part of a two step process:
Step 1: Upgrade to firmware V2.11.00 using the ZXP Toolbox Firmware download function under Firmware and Setting.
Step 2: Upgrade to firmware V2.12.00 (or later) using the same download and upgrade process.
Please read the Driver and Firmware ‘read me’ files attached to the firmware and drivers for additional details.
All of the enhancements noted above will be available via the updated firmware and driver as seen below, and are expected to start shipping on the ZXP Series 8 Zebra ID card printers June 2011.
Please note, the new firmware is only compatible with the driver version indicated below. Please install both the firmware and associated driver for your ID card printer.
