Zebra‘s P640i with dual-sided laminator, USB connectivity, linear barcode reader, ID key and smart card contact encoder is ideal for printing government and military ID cards, licenses, access control, and ID cards for high security settings such as corrections facilities and law enforcement. Designed for continuous production of brilliant full-color cards, the highly advanced printhead control prevents overheating, while the patented self-cleaning mechanism removes surface contamination, and the printer’s full metal enclosure protects its internal parts ensuring years of reliable operation.
From its ID/Key option and ID/Log Software, which create a data record for each card produced, to its custom ID card holographic overlaminates and special printing effects which deter fraudulent reproduction of cards, the Zebra P640i sets a very high standard for security. Its patented card transport mechanism features highly accurate card positioning, while a dual-sided laminator increases card longevity by two to five years, protecting against hazards like daily wear and tear and attempted forgeries.
Other features include a low maintenance card transport mechanism, wasteless ID card lamination, and the easy to use and install Windows®, which provides real-time printer status information.
