Zebra‘s P630i duplex ID card printer with single-sided laminator, USB connectivity, smart card contact encoder and magnetic encoder has been designed for the creation and printing of secure, durable ID cards, while protecting your card printing process from unauthorized use. With the Zebra P630i printer, you will be in control of your company’s card issuance operation, with ID Log Software, Driver Passcode Protection, and the Optional ID Key.
ID Log Software is a driver utility that builds a user-definable card transaction record, which can be uploaded to a central location to be accessed by security offices, as a means of validating cards against your tamper-proof data. Driver Passcode Protection essentially locks the P630i to your computer, so that when it is connected to an unauthorized host, it will not print, although you will still be able to set up several authorized hosts, so that your application can still be run over a network. And ID Key is an optional feature that when inserted, allows normal printer functioning, but when removed disbles all printing.
The P630i’s translucent card cover allows you to see when your supplies are running low, and features an automatic card cleaning mechanism, which reduces the time spent on routine cleanings. Prints 120 duplex cards per hour, using single-sided ID card lamination.
