The versatility of Fargo‘s DTC4500 Single-Sided LC with ISO Magnetic Stripe Encoder is unsurpassed. Capable of making simple loyalty cards as well as sophisticated access cards with embedded electronics, the DTC4500’s dual-sided printing module creates a card with more space for information and security features such as duplicate photos and digital-signatures. The DTC4500’s lamination unit applies an overlaminate to cards, making them highly-secure, resisting forgery while increasing card durability. Unique dual-sided simultaneous lamination saves time with increased throughput.
ID cards are produced using two different printing methods: Dye-Sublimation for vivid colors and accurate photographic images, and Resin Thermal Transfer for sharp black text and bar codes that can be easily read by infrared or visible light scanners.
Features built-in security with password-protected printer operation and fluorescent panel printing; Standard dual-input card hopper for increased capacity/ managing more then one card type at once; Easy integration into existing IT infrastructures through built-in Ethernet and USB connection, allowing for centralized or remote ID card issuance; Industry’s first inline card printing and technology card encoding with one connection, using USB or Ethernet connectivity; and High capacity DTC4500 printer ribbons that enable the printing of twice as many full color cards than most printers can before the ribbon needs to be changed.

Technology encoding modules encode data for magnetic stripe cards, proximity cards, contact and/or contactless technology cards, such as iCLASS®, for access control or other applications.
Fully compatible with Asure ID® card personalization software for badge design, database management and technology card encoding.
