With the Evolis Tattoo2Rewrite ID Card Printer you can make new plastic ID cards anytime it is required, and the erase/write cycle is so fast so you can erase, encode and reprint new ID card data in a matter of seconds. The Tattoo RW uses rewritable cards and requires no ribbons so you can reduce your environmental footprint! Cards for the Tattoo RW contain a thermochromatic material which becomes visible and/or vanishes according to applied temperatures. This technology makes it possible to erase and print the same card up to 500 times!
The Tattoo RW is a cost effective solutions because there is no need to throw away your old cards each time you need to print new ones. With the Tattoo RW technology you can erase and reprint updated data on your existing cards! Data encoded on magnetic stripes or on contactless chips can also be displayed and updated on RW card surfaces.
