HID FARGO YMC Full-Color Ribbon, 750 Prints

HID FARGO YMC ribbon consists of three panels (Y=Yellow, M=Magenta, C=Cyan) and is used for printing full-color cards where composite black is acceptable. Composite black is created by mixing YMC and will work for you if you’re not printing barcodes and if you don’t need crisp black text. If you need sharp black text, use a YMCK ribbon, which has a separate black (K) panel for printing black text and graphics.

YMC ribbons are cost-effective when there isn’t a need to print resin text or barcodes. They are genuine HID FARGO ribbons that are properly stored and always fresh. When stored correctly, dye-sublimation color ribbons typically have a shelf life of up to one year. Ribbons older than a year or improperly stored may result in poor print quality, leading to additional costs in maintenance and reprinting cards.
