Fargo Fargo Standard Black (K) Ribbon Cartridge, 3000 Prints.
Black monochrome ribbons are primarily used for printing text and one-color line art on one or both sides of a card.
Note: Black resin is needed to print readable barcodes.
Uses RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology to sense whether
you have the correct ribbon installed and alert you if the wrong ribbon
has been installed.

Fargo ID card printers require specialized Fargo ID printer ribbons to function properly. To maximize printed ID card quality and ID card printer durability, use only genuine Fargo ID printer ribbons.
*HID Global will be upgrading the RFID communication technology utilized by some Fargo ID card printer ribbons and overlaminate consumables, beginning in October 2013. After HID implements this new technology, most ID card printers and laminators manufactured before mid-2010 will require a firmware update to ensure compatibility with the new consumables technology.
